Manpower and staffing
Payroll software for staffing and manpower agencies
Pay every worker deployed at every client site from one monthly run, with paid days from attendance, PF worked out, advances recovered and a wage register your auditor can read.
In short
SimpleERP is payroll software for staffing and manpower agencies. Attendance from client sites becomes paid days, one monthly run builds payslips with PF, ESI added as a component and advance recoveries, and approval posts wages to the books.

A payroll day at Sahyadri Workforce Services
Wages at Sahyadri Workforce Services are due on the 7th, and 310 workers across fourteen client sites expect them on time whether or not the client has paid. The payroll clerk starts with the same signed attendance sheets the billing desk used.
A loader at Chakan was absent four days and took a ₹3,000 advance last month. A housekeeping worker at Hadapsar left mid-month and her replacement joined on the 18th. Every one of them needs PF, most need ESI, and the wage register has to match what went to the bank.
How does attendance from the client site reach payroll?
On the daily sheet, mark everyone present in one step and change only the absences the client's sheet shows. Site supervisors with a self-service login can also check in for the day from their phones. Paid days and loss of pay flow into the run without retyping.
- Absent, half day and leave each count the way the run expects.
- Weekly offs and holidays come from the worker's shift and branch.
- A replacement joins with a date, so the leaver and the joiner are each paid for their own days.

Which pay components does a deployed worker need?
Start from the seeded components and add what your contracts use. ESI is not preset, so create it as a deduction with an employer contribution and set it on the workers it covers.
| Component | Type | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Basic and DA | Earning | ₹14,200 |
| HRA | Earning | ₹2,800 |
| Provident fund, 12% of Basic | Deduction | ₹1,704 |
| ESI, 0.75% of gross (added as a component) | Deduction | ₹128 |
| Professional tax | Deduction | ₹200 |
| Advance recovery | Deduction | ₹1,000 |
| Net pay | ₹13,968 |
Can advances to workers be recovered from wages?
Yes. Pay the advance with a monthly recovery amount and every run deducts it until the balance is nil. The advances report shows what each worker took, repaid and still owes.
- Recovery shows as its own payslip line, so the worker sees it.
- The run never recovers more than the balance left.
- Approval posts wages, PF, ESI and recoveries to their own accounts.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Can I run payroll for one client's workers separately?
Group workers by department or branch. A run covers one branch or the whole business, and the payroll register can be read by department, so each client's wage cost is easy to pick out.
Does it work out ESI for me?
Not by itself. Create ESI as a deduction and an employer contribution, set the percentage, and assign it to the workers under the wage ceiling.
Can I pay workers weekly?
No. Payroll is monthly. Weekly cash advances can be paid as advances and recovered in the monthly run.
Do workers get their payslips?
Yes. With a self-service login on their phone they can open and download each approved payslip, and see their own advance balance.
