Questions, answered
Can I bring my data from Tally, Zoho Books, Vyapar or Busy?
Yes. Settings → Import data reads a Tally Prime Masters XML file, the CSV or Excel exports of Zoho Books, Vyapar and Busy, GST portal downloads and your own spreadsheets. Start with what to bring and when.
Does the import bring my old invoices and vouchers?
No. SimpleERP brings masters, balances on your start date and the invoices and bills still unpaid, bill by bill. Historical vouchers stay in your old software, which remains your archive.
What if an import goes wrong?
Every file is checked before anything is written, and every problem is listed by row with what to fix. An import can be undone from the same page while nothing has been built on top of it.
Who can import data?
Anyone with the right permission for each kind of data: customers need the customer permission, opening balances need journal permissions, and so on. Owners and Admins can import everything.
