How to choose
Start with the job you do every day
Every module is included, so there is nothing to buy. Start with what you need, in this order, and use the rest as the business asks for it.
- You sell: start with GST billing and payments. Most businesses post a first invoice within ten minutes.
- You hold stock: load products by CSV with opening stock, then let inventory and purchase run from your bills.
- You make things: add bills of materials once your components are in stock.
- You have staff: set up HR and attendance first, then run payroll at month end.
- You are moving from Tally or Excel: bring opening balances in with the wizard and run both for a month. See the move.
One system
One customer list, one product list, one ledger
No module keeps its own copy of a customer, a product or money. That is why posting one document can update everything it touches.
- Nothing to re-enter: a quotation becomes an order and an invoice; a bill becomes stock and a payable
- Balances are derived, never typed: dues, stock values and account balances come from posted documents
- One posting, one transaction: if any part fails, nothing posts
| When you post | What updates in the same step |
|---|---|
| Sales invoice | Stock out at average cost, the customer's receivable, sales, output GST, the dashboard |
| Supplier bill | Stock in at cost, the supplier's payable, input GST |
| Payment | Bank or cash, the invoice or bill status, ageing |
| Payroll run | Salary expense, PF, PT and TDS payable, payslips |
| Work order | Components out, finished goods in at actual cost, overhead |
| Expense | The category's expense account, input GST, cash or bank |
| Depreciation | Depreciation expense and the asset's book value |
FAQ
Questions, answered
Do I have to use every module?
No. A one-location shop can run only billing, payments and stock and never see warehouses, branches or the chart of accounts. Other modules stay out of the way until someone opens them.
Are all modules included in the free trial?
Yes. Every module is included for the seven-day trial with no card, and Premium keeps all of them. Premium is priced per user per month; see pricing or talk to us to activate.
Is SimpleERP one system or several apps joined together?
One system. Every module shares one database, one customer and supplier list, one product list and one ledger, so there is no sync to break and no second copy to reconcile.
Which modules suit a trading or distribution business?
GST billing, payments and receivables, purchase and inventory cover most trading work, with accounting underneath. See wholesale and distribution for the details.
What is not included yet?
E-invoicing and e-way bill APIs, GST return filing, bank feeds, multiple currencies, batch or serial tracking and integrations beyond email. Each module page lists its own limits.
Thirteen modules. One login. Seven days free.
No card for the trial. Your first GST invoice in minutes.
