Reports & dashboard
Business dashboard and reports for small businesses
A morning dashboard that answers the owner's questions in one glance, and a report for everything else, each one exportable to CSV.
In short
SimpleERP gives small businesses a business dashboard and a full report catalogue: sales, cash, dues, profit and what needs attention every morning, plus P&L, balance sheet, GST and HSN summaries, ageing, stock and payroll reports with CSV export.
Illustration of the SimpleERP dashboard for Lakshmi Steel Furnitures: sales ₹18,42,600, net profit ₹4,12,800, ₹2,14,800 to collect, a sales versus purchases chart and top products.
The daily job: see the business before the day starts
Owners check the same few things every morning: sales, cash, who owes what and what is stuck. SimpleERP puts them on one screen that also works on a phone.
- Open the dashboard and see this month's sales, dues and cash
- Clear what needs attention: leave, claims, low stock, expiring quotes
- Hand your accountant any report as a print or a CSV
Dashboard
The dashboard answers the owner's morning questions
Every card reads from posted documents, so it is never ahead of or behind the books. Each person sees only the cards their role allows, and a new business sees a getting-started checklist instead of empty charts. Switch between this month, last month, this quarter and this fiscal year.
- Sales this month against last month, net of credit notes
- To collect and overdue, to pay and due in seven days, cash and bank
- Sales against purchases for the last twelve months
- Receivables ageing, top customers and products, and the value of open deals in the pipeline
- Needs attention: pending leave, claims to approve, low stock, quotations expiring this week
GST
GST registers and summaries ready for your filer
SimpleERP does not file returns, but it prepares what the person who files them asks for, from the same posted invoices and bills. Pick a month, a quarter or the fiscal year, print it or export it to CSV.
- GST summary: output and input tax per component, with net payable
- HSN summary: quantity, taxable value and tax by HSN or SAC code
- Sales register for GSTR-1 checks, purchase register for GSTR-2B checks
- Credit and debit notes netted; taxable value counted once per document

Catalogue
A report for every question, grouped by who asks it
The reports page lists only what your role can open, with a search box on top. Most reports take a period and a branch, and sales reports also filter by customer, product or category.
| Group | Reports |
|---|---|
| Sales | By customer, by product with margin, by month, quotation conversion, sales register, receivables ageing |
| Finance | Trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, general ledger, day book, cash flow, GST summary, HSN summary, payables ageing |
| Inventory and purchase | Stock on hand and valuation, movements, low stock, purchases by supplier, product and month, purchase register |
| CRM | Pipeline by stage, win rate, lead sources, activities per owner |
| People and payroll | Headcount, attendance summary, leave balances, payroll register, salary components, advances |
| Expenses and assets | Expenses by category and month, top merchants, claims by employee, asset register, depreciation |

Reports that agree with each other
Automated tests check, on every change, that the numbers tie out: the trial balance balances, P&L net profit equals current-year earnings on the balance sheet, assets equal liabilities plus equity, and stock value matches the inventory account. Drafts and cancelled documents never appear in any report.
- Only posted documents count, never drafts
- A cancelled document and its reversal net to zero
- Receivable and payable totals match the customer and supplier ledgers
- Large CSV exports ask you to narrow the period past 50,000 rows

FAQ
Questions, answered
Does SimpleERP file my GST returns?
No. It prepares the GST summary, HSN summary and sales and purchase registers from your posted documents, and exports them to CSV for whoever files your returns. See GST compliance.
Can I see the dashboard on my phone?
Yes. SimpleERP is a web app and every screen, the dashboard included, works on a 360 px phone. There is nothing to install.
Will my sales team see profit and cash figures?
Only if their role allows it. Dashboard cards and reports are hidden from people without the matching permission, and you can adjust roles in team and settings.
Can I export reports to Excel?
Yes. Every report exports to CSV, which opens in Excel or Google Sheets, and so do the product, stock and ledger lists. Numbers are plain, without separators, so formulas work straight away. Documents such as invoices print as A4 instead.
Can I compare this month with last month?
Yes. The dashboard compares sales with the previous month, and the P&L has a comparison column for the period of the same length just before.
